What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a licensed health care profession where a practitioner, called a chiropractor, uses manual treatments to help relieve pain of the muscles and joints. Treatments may include manipulation of the spine and joints, exercise therapy, massage, cupping, and lifestyle changes to aid in the body's healing process. Chiropractic care addresses a wide range of ailments including but not limited to these symptoms listed below.

Treatments We Offer

Spinal manipulative therapy (adjustment)

A procedure where hands apply a controlled, sudden force to a spinal joint to improve motion and relieve pain and inflammation.

Exercise therapy

Movement that is prescribed to correct muscular and/or skeletal function to treat injuries or conditions and improve strength.

Drop table adjustment

A technique that involves using a segmented table so a gentle thrust can be applied while slightly dropping a section of the table to adjust and mobilize the spine.

Instrument-assisted adjustments

Utilize handheld tools to apply controlled, low impact force to target the spine or joints to minimize stress on the body.

Mobilization (IASTM or "guasha")

An East Asian healing technique where a small, smooth-edged tool is stroked against the skin unidirectionally to help improve blood flow and reduce inflammation.

Rock Tape/Kinesiology Tape

An elastic, strong, adhesive that is placed on the injured muscle to relieve swelling through decompression and also aids in maintaining proper posture and form.

Cupping

Involves placing cups on the body to create suction that encourages blood flow to increase circulation which promotes healing, reduces inflammation and pain, and relieves muscle tension.

Ergonomic advice

The process of modifying a home and/or workplace to eliminate discomfort and risk of injury.
